Safar Sahyadri Trekkers have organized a trek to Kalsubai – Highest Peak of Maharashtra on 29th and 30th June 2019.

● About Kalsubai ●
Kalsubai is the highest peak in Sahyadri Mountain Range, the Everest of Maharashtra. At the summit point, there is a small temple of MT. Kalsubai. Being the highest peak, it commands a beautiful view. To the north of the mountain range forts such as Ramshej, Harihargad, Brahmagiri, Anjaneri, Ghargad, Bahula, Tringalwadi, Kavnai can be seen. To the east one can spot Aundha, Vishramgad to the west Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad (south-west) and to the south Pabhargad, Ghanchakkar, Harishchandragad can be seen.
Kalsubai is a famous trekking point and tourist destination and one can witness the entire Bhandardara Region from its top. It’s a benchmark climb for many trekkers being the highest point in Sahyadri.

3.00 am Rich Bari Village Home.
4.00 am Start Night Trek To Kalsubai
6.30 am Rich Top Kalsubai Peak
6.30 am To 8.00 am Explore & Photography
8.30 am Start Descending
11.00 am Lunch Village Home (Nonvej-Vej Local Delicious Food)
1.00 pm Move Towards Kasara By Prebook Four Wheeler.
3.00 pm Reach Kasara Railway Station and The Trek Ends With Golden Memories.

● Things To Carry ●
All items below are compulsory.
1) Carry your Train Ticket for Kasara Return.
2) Good haversack bag to put in all the things to be carried. Wear Full Track pant, Tshirt or Full Shirt.
3) A bottle of water (At least 2 ltr)
4) Camera(optional), Avoid wearing gold and other jewellery(at own risk)
5) Raincoat, Jacket, Electoral Powder 2 lemon, some snack, biscuits.
6) Personal medicine & plastic bag,odomas or same brand.
7) Good Trekking shoes, towel and extra clothes.
8) Any Original Photo ID Proof
